Welcome to Tap Universe. By downloading, installing, or using our app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tap Universe, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
Tap Universe is a mobile game that allows users to:
- Play tapping-based mini-games and challenges
- Compete on leaderboards
- Challenge other players asynchronously
- Collect power-ups and in-game items
- Make optional in-app purchases
3. Public Leaderboards and Statistics
By using Tap Universe, you agree that:
- Your display name and game statistics (level, scores, XP) may be displayed on public leaderboards within the app and on our website.
- Aggregated game statistics, including top player names and scores, may be displayed publicly on our website (tapuniverse.net) for promotional and community purposes.
- When you post a score to the Challenge Board, it becomes visible to all players.
- Sector ownership information, including your display name, may be visible to other players.
If you do not wish to appear on public leaderboards, you may choose a display name that does not identify you personally.
4. User Accounts
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple or play as a guest. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account
- All activities that occur under your account
- Choosing an appropriate display name
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
5. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use offensive, inappropriate, or misleading display names
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized modifications
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Use the app for any illegal purpose
- Impersonate other users or entities
6. In-App Purchases
Tap Universe offers optional in-app purchases. All purchases are:
- Processed through Apple's App Store
- Subject to Apple's terms and refund policies
- Final and non-refundable except as required by law
Virtual items have no real-world value and cannot be transferred or exchanged.
7. Intellectual Property
All content in Tap Universe, including graphics, gameplay mechanics, and code, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Tap Universe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- Uninterrupted or error-free service
- That defects will be corrected
- That the app is free of viruses or harmful components
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Modifications to Service
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms periodically.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the app at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.
